Position Title: Big Data Developer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Big Data Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Big Data Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's big data solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science, data analytics, and programming, along with a passion for working with large and complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement big data solutions in a distributed computing environment.
• Analyze and optimize performance of existing big data applications.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand data requirements and develop data models.
• Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the health of our big data infrastructure.
• Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve our big data ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining big data solutions.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of database design, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
