Position: Instructional Support Specialist

Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Instructional Support Specialist to join our team. As an Instructional Support Specialist, you will provide valuable support to our instructional team, helping to ensure the success of our educational programs. You will work closely with our teachers and curriculum developers to implement effective instructional strategies and support student learning. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and curriculum developers to identify instructional needs and develop effective strategies for student learning
• Support the implementation of instructional materials and resources, including technology and multimedia tools
• Assist in the development of lesson plans and educational activities
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, as needed
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and curriculum developers
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with instructional best practices
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and instructional materials
• Communicate regularly with teachers, students, and parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Assist in the design and implementation of assessments to measure student learning and program effectiveness
• Collaborate with other instructional support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students
• Stay up-to-date with educational trends and research to enhance instructional practices and student learning outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional support or related role
• Strong understanding of instructional best practices and strategies
• Experience with educational technology and multimedia tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
