As a News Anchor, you will have the opportunity to deliver breaking news, conduct interviews, and present compelling stories to our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver news stories with accuracy, clarity, and objectivity in a timely manner
• Present breaking news and live coverage in a professional and engaging manner
• Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and sources to provide insightful commentary and analysis
• Research and gather information on current events, politics, and other topics to provide informed and balanced reporting
• Collaborate with the production team to develop engaging and visually appealing news segments
• Participate in editorial meetings to brainstorm and pitch story ideas
• Engage with the audience through social media platforms and respond to comments and questions
• Stay up-to-date with current events and trends to provide relevant and timely reporting
• Adhere to company and industry standards and ethics in journalism
• Demonstrate a strong on-air presence and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Train and mentor junior staff members and interns as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a News Anchor or similar role
• Proven track record of delivering engaging and accurate news reporting
• Strong on-camera presence and excellent communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of current events, politics, and other relevant topics
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with social media platforms and engaging with the audience
• Proficient in video editing software and teleprompter operation
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and train junior staff members
• Excellent research, writing, and interviewing skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
