Job Summary: As the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process from conception to launch. You will lead a team of designers, engineers, and other professionals to bring new products to market, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with the company's goals and vision. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong mix of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the product development process, including idea generation, concept development, prototyping, testing, and launch.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product development strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and sales to develop and execute product development plans.
• Set timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of new products.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and services needed for product development.
• Review and approve all product design and engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular product reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and industry experts to stay updated on market trends and customer needs.
• Monitor and track product development budgets and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing the development and launch of new products.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and production.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to product development.
• Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for developing new products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
