Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Database Developer who is passionate about developing and maintaining databases on the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and design, as well as hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement databases on the AWS platform, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand data requirements and design efficient database structures.
• Optimize database performance and ensure scalability for future growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and data dictionaries.
• Monitor database health and performance, and implement necessary updates and patches.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop data migration strategies from on-premises databases to the AWS platform.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS database technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in database development, preferably on the AWS platform.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS database technologies such as RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
