Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure that production schedules are met.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Train and develop production workers to improve their skills and ensure consistent performance.
Oversee the maintenance of equipment and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure that materials and supplies are available for production.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to production workers.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Communicate with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve production processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a steel production facility.
In-depth knowledge of steel production processes and equipment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements.
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
