Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of farm workers, including assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed on time and to the required standards.
Monitor crop growth and health, identify any issues or diseases, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate damage.
Operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
Ensure proper storage and handling of harvested crops to maintain their quality.
Create and maintain records of daily activities, including crop yields, weather conditions, and labor hours.
Train new farm workers on farming techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
Monitor and maintain the farm's budget, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with the farm manager to develop and implement farming plans to increase productivity and efficiency.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections.
Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in farming practices to continuously improve the farm's operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in agriculture or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role on a farm.
Extensive knowledge of farming techniques, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
Proficient in the use of farm equipment and computer programs, such as Microsoft Office.
