Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all linens and garments used by our company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities, ensuring that all laundry processes are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens and garments according to company standards and procedures.
• Inspect all linens and garments for stains, tears, and other damages before and after laundering.
• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and steamers.
• Ensure that all laundry chemicals are properly used and stored.
• Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Properly handle and dispose of all soiled linens and garments.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry facilities at all times.
• Assist with the delivery and distribution of clean linens and garments to various departments.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or damages to management immediately.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all laundry tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and staff members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals and their proper handling.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
