About the Role: As a Security Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our company's products and services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing security tests to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security test plans, strategies, and procedures to identify and mitigate potential security threats
• Conduct manual and automated security testing on web applications, mobile applications, and other software systems
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in our systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
• Review code and provide recommendations for security improvements
• Analyze and interpret security test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities and apply this knowledge to improve our security testing processes
• Participate in incident response activities and assist in the resolution of security issues
• Communicate and collaborate with external security researchers and vendors to identify and address potential security risks
• Continuously improve our security testing methodologies and processes to ensure the highest level of security for our products and services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security testing or a related role
• In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors
• Experience with manual and automated security testing tools
• Strong understanding of web technologies, mobile technologies, and network protocols
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and software development methodologies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, etc. are a plus
