Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Outreach Specialist to help us build and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for community development. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting our organization's mission and values, and engaging with community members to identify their needs and provide them with necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with community members, organizations, and stakeholders
• Attend community events, meetings, and conferences to represent the organization and build relationships with key individuals and groups
• Collaborate with team members to create and manage community outreach campaigns and initiatives
• Conduct surveys and gather feedback from community members to identify their needs and concerns
• Develop and maintain a database of contacts and resources within the community
• Create and distribute informational materials to promote the organization's programs and services
• Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other outreach events to educate and inform the community about our organization's mission and services
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of outreach efforts
• Monitor and report on the success of outreach initiatives and make recommendations for improvements
• Stay up-to-date with current community issues and trends to inform outreach strategies and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of community development principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus
