Job Title: Food Production Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Food Production Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from sourcing ingredients to packaging the final product. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all food products are made with the highest quality standards and in compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process, from sourcing ingredients to packaging the final product
• Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures
• Train and mentor production team members on proper food handling and production techniques
• Continuously monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and implement best practices
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food production, preferably in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of food production processes, regulations, and quality control standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
