Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development activities to improve existing textile products and develop new ones.
• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and sustainable textile solutions.
• Use your knowledge of textile engineering concepts and principles to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Design and conduct experiments to test the performance and durability of textile products.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for product enhancements.
• Work with production teams to ensure that new products can be manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into new product designs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product specifications and marketing strategies.
• Write reports, create technical drawings and diagrams, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the development process.
• Ensure that all products adhere to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in textile research and development.
• Strong understanding of textile engineering concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with textile testing methods and equipment.
• Proficient in CAD software and other design tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and their application in textile manufacturing is a plus.
