Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced University Legal Education Specialist to join our team. As a University Legal Education Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing legal education programs and initiatives for students, faculty, and staff at our university. You will work closely with the university's legal department and other key stakeholders to ensure that our students receive the highest quality legal education.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legal education programs and initiatives for students, faculty, and staff at our university.
• Collaborate with the university's legal department to ensure that legal education programs align with the university's policies and procedures.
• Conduct research on current legal issues and trends in higher education and incorporate them into legal education programs.
• Plan and deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions on various legal topics relevant to the university community.
• Create and maintain educational resources such as handbooks, guides, and online modules for students, faculty, and staff.
• Collaborate with other university departments to integrate legal education into the curriculum of various disciplines.
• Provide guidance and support to students seeking legal internships or externships.
• Organize and facilitate legal clinics and pro bono services for the university community.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external legal organizations and professionals to enhance legal education opportunities for our students.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the university and develop strategies to keep the community informed.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of legal education programs and initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field. Master's degree or JD preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in legal education or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures, particularly in the higher education context.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and build relationships.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and other educational technology tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Experience in curriculum design and development is a plus.
