Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, including reviewing policy coverage, interviewing involved parties, and gathering all relevant documentation and evidence.
• Evaluate claims based on policy provisions, applicable laws, and company guidelines to determine the extent of liability and the appropriate compensation.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and third-party vendors in a fair and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities, including payments, denials, and other relevant data.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters and legal counsel, to ensure prompt and accurate claim resolution.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to improve claim handling processes and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders and claimants throughout the claims process, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify and refer potentially fraudulent claims to the appropriate department for further investigation.
• Participate in claim audits and provide necessary documentation and information to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Possess or willing to obtain necessary state adjuster licenses.
