Job Title: Automotive Parts Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. As an Automotive Parts Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, identifying and sourcing automotive parts, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts for their vehicles
• Utilize electronic and print catalogs to locate and source automotive parts
• Place orders for parts through our suppliers and track shipments
• Receive and inspect incoming parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits
• Process customer returns and handle warranty claims
• Provide pricing and availability information to customers
• Keep up-to-date on new products, industry trends, and advancements in automotive technology
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized parts department
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry, specifically in parts
• Strong understanding of automotive parts and their functions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using electronic and print parts catalogs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
