Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations. You will work closely with various departments, including procurement, sales, and warehouse, to coordinate and monitor all logistical activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to plan and execute shipments according to customer requirements.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documents.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process, such as delays, damages, or incorrect shipments.
• Continuously review and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations and ensure all shipments are in accordance with international trade laws.
• Train and mentor junior logistics team members to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and logistics operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Knowledge of international trade and customs regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
