Position: Instructional Coach

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Coach to join our dynamic team. As an Instructional Coach, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and guidance to teachers in order to improve instructional practices and student outcomes. You will work closely with teachers, school leaders, and other instructional coaches to develop and implement effective coaching strategies that align with our school's goals and vision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong background in education, and a passion for helping teachers grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to identify areas of instructional improvement and develop coaching plans to address these areas
• Observe and provide feedback to teachers on their instructional practices, incorporating evidence-based strategies and resources
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with teachers to provide personalized support and guidance in implementing effective instructional practices
• Plan and facilitate professional development workshops and meetings for teachers on various instructional topics
• Use data and research to inform coaching strategies and measure the impact of coaching on teacher growth and student achievement
• Serve as a resource and mentor for teachers, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the school year
• Collaborate with other instructional coaches to share best practices and develop a cohesive coaching program across the school
• Participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and stay current on educational trends and practices
• Build positive relationships with teachers, school leaders, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive coaching environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a coaching or mentoring role
• Extensive knowledge of instructional strategies and best practices in teaching and learning
• Strong understanding of data analysis and its application to coaching and instruction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with teachers and school leaders
• Proven ability to facilitate professional development and lead effective meetings
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning and development
• Valid teaching certification is preferred
