Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain database structures for our company's applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient database solutions
Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data
Develop data migration scripts to transfer data from legacy systems to new databases
Perform database tuning and optimization to improve performance
Create and maintain data dictionaries, data models, and other documentation
Monitor database backups and implement disaster recovery procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and performing regular audits
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to database development
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in database development
Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling
Experience with data migration and integration
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
Familiarity with ETL tools and processes
Ability to write clear and efficient code with a strong attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs
