Position: Delivery Driver

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and timely transport goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle in a safe and organized manner
• Verify and document the contents of each delivery
• Ensure all deliveries are completed within the given time frame
• Communicate any delays or issues with deliveries to the appropriate parties
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the supervisor
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Delivery Driver
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required
