Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Steel Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the steel industry and a proven track record of coordinating supply chain operations.As a Steel Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to logistics and delivery. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of steel products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the supply chain process for steel products, including sourcing, procurement, transportation, and delivery
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of steel products
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply of steel products
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
• Communicate with internal teams to understand their steel product needs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions
• Analyze supply chain data and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to the transportation and delivery of steel products
• Manage any issues or delays in the supply chain process and work to find solutions to minimize impact on production and delivery timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
• Stay updated on industry trends and developments to make informed decisions about suppliers and products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the steel industry
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to the transportation and delivery of steel products
