Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage data science projects from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Act as a liaison between data science teams and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring projects stay within budget.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Conduct project meetings and provide clear and concise project status reports.
Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
Collaborate with data scientists to identify and implement best practices for project management and data science methodologies.
Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and project management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a data science or technology environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex data science projects.
Strong understanding of data science methodologies and techniques.
Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
