Position: Beverage Director

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Director to join our team. As the Beverage Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing beverage programs that align with our company's vision and goals. You will have a deep understanding of the beverage industry and possess the ability to curate unique and profitable beverage menus. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong business acumen, and a proven track record of success in managing a beverage program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement beverage programs that align with the company's vision and goals
• Create and curate unique and profitable beverage menus
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into the beverage program
• Oversee the purchasing, inventory, and cost control of all beverage items
• Train and supervise beverage staff to ensure exceptional service and adherence to company standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create food and beverage pairings
• Conduct regular menu reviews to ensure profitability and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Monitor and analyze sales and cost data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the service of alcohol
• Continuously strive to enhance the overall guest experience through the beverage program

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Beverage Director or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of mixology and the beverage industry
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• A creative mindset with a passion for innovation
• Proven track record of managing a profitable beverage program
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, and cost control
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to the service of alcohol
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
