Position Overview: Our company is seeking a talented and experienced Makeup Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for makeup and a strong understanding of the latest trends and techniques in the industry. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality makeup services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing their natural beauty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide recommendations on makeup styles that will enhance their features
• Apply makeup on clients for various occasions such as weddings, photoshoots, events, and other special occasions
• Create makeup looks that align with the client's desired look and event theme
• Use a variety of techniques and tools to achieve different makeup styles, including airbrushing, contouring, and special effects makeup
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in makeup, and incorporate them into your work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools and products are properly sanitized
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that clients are satisfied with their makeup look
• Collaborate with photographers, hairstylists, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive look for clients
• Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to attract new clients and retain existing ones
• Attend industry events and workshops to continuously improve your skills and stay updated on industry trends
• Manage and maintain inventory of makeup products, ensuring that all supplies are well-stocked and in good condition
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Makeup Artist
• Strong knowledge of makeup techniques and products
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and ability to multitask
• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as needed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A portfolio showcasing your previous work is preferred
• Certification or training in makeup artistry is an asset
