Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other specifications to determine the requirements for each project
Measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision
Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using various tools, such as shears, presses, and brakes
Weld or solder pieces together to form the desired shape
Assemble and install sheet metal products, including ductwork, roofing, and siding
Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
Strong knowledge of various sheet metal materials and their properties
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with cutting, shaping, and bending sheet metal using hand and power tools
Ability to read and use measuring tools, such as rulers, calipers, and protractors
Skilled in welding and soldering techniques
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Physical ability to lift and move heavy sheet metal pieces
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Safety-conscious and able to follow all safety protocols
