Position: Capital Investment Specialist

Location: Quetzaltenango, Guatemala

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Capital Investment Specialist to join our team. As a Capital Investment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing investment opportunities, conducting financial evaluations, and providing recommendations for capital investments. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure that our investment decisions are aligned with our company's financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analyses of potential investment opportunities, including market trends, financial statements, and risk assessments
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, including forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and data for investment evaluations
• Prepare investment proposals and present recommendations to senior management
• Monitor and track existing investments, providing regular updates on performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential investment opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and external partners
• Assist with the development and implementation of investment strategies and policies
• Conduct due diligence on potential investment targets and assess their financial viability
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis or related field
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
