About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Translation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of translated content across multiple languages and projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a leader in the translation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all languages and projects
• Identify and report any errors or discrepancies in translation, working closely with the translation team to resolve any issues
• Develop and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of translation quality
• Collaborate with project managers and translators to provide feedback and recommendations for improving translation quality and efficiency
• Perform linguistic and functional testing on translated content to ensure it meets the intended purpose and target audience
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in translation quality assurance
• Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline the quality assurance process and increase efficiency
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
• Provide training and support to translation team members on quality assurance processes and procedures
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and successes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in translation quality assurance, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English and at least one other language
• Strong understanding of translation principles, techniques, and methodologies
• Familiarity with translation tools and software, such as CAT tools and translation memory software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for language and culture, with a strong desire to deliver high-quality translations
