Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of production workers, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure production goals are met within established timelines
Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues in a timely manner
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in plastic manufacturing technology
Train and mentor new employees to ensure they are well-equipped to perform their roles effectively

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment
Proven experience in leading and managing a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
