Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, curriculum design, and instructional design. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and revising curriculum materials for various academic programs offered by Crestwood University of Health Sciences. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members to create engaging, relevant, and effective curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and develop course content that aligns with those objectives.
• Design and develop course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, handouts, and other resources.
• Ensure that all curriculum materials are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of best practices in education.
• Conduct research to identify and incorporate current trends and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student learning and course effectiveness.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to integrate technology and digital resources into the curriculum.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to improve effectiveness and relevance.
• Provide training and support to faculty on how to effectively use curriculum materials.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the education field to continuously improve curriculum development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and curriculum development processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other team members.
• Proficient in using technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and educational software.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for education and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
