Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Fashion Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for fashion trends, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the fashion industry. As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profitability by developing and executing merchandising strategies that align with our brand image and target market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to identify potential opportunities for new products or collections
• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product concepts and lines that align with the brand's vision
• Create and maintain a product assortment plan that meets the needs of our target market and maximizes sales
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable
• Manage inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or clearance of slow-moving products
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including buying, planning, and marketing to ensure cohesive merchandising strategies
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed
• Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies to create an attractive and engaging in-store shopping experience
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely delivery of products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in fashion merchandising or buying
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and the ability to forecast future trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other merchandising software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
