Job Summary: As a Signal and Track Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of railway signals and track systems. You will work closely with other maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our railway network. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, performing repairs and replacements, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of railway signals and track systems to identify any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Perform repairs and replacements on damaged or malfunctioning signals and track components
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical failures in signal and track systems
• Install new signals and track components as needed
• Conduct preventive maintenance on signals and track systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted service
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment inventory
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to implement new procedures and improve existing maintenance processes
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while performing maintenance tasks
• Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize service disruptions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in railway signal and track technology

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in railway signal and track maintenance
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity with railway safety regulations and protocols
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to different work sites
