Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong background in cloud computing and extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure. You will also be responsible for providing technical support to our development and operations teams, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment and management of applications on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain highly available and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
• Work closely with development and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions
• Develop automation scripts for provisioning and managing AWS resources
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of AWS applications and infrastructure
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to ensure the security of our AWS environment
• Continuously optimize and improve the performance and cost-efficiency of our AWS infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features and recommend their adoption in our environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support of production systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and IAM
• Experience with automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• AWS certifications are a plus
