Position: Avionics Technician

Job Description: Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment on various aircrafts. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all avionics systems are functioning properly and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of avionics systems and equipment on aircrafts
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with avionics systems and make necessary repairs
• Install new avionics equipment and systems according to manufacturer specifications
• Program and test avionics systems to ensure proper functionality
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex avionics issues
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on aircrafts
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in avionics technology and attend training as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree in Avionics or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Avionics Technician
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred
• Extensive knowledge of avionics systems and equipment, including navigation, communication, and electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and on-call as needed
