Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our company and its assets. You will be responsible for protecting our employees, visitors, and properties from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect security threats
• Act as the first point of contact for any security-related incidents and provide necessary assistance
• Conduct regular checks of security equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
• Monitor access control systems and ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas
• Conduct thorough screenings of individuals and their belongings to prevent theft or smuggling of prohibited items
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities and incidents
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services in case of an emergency
• Conduct investigations and compile reports on security incidents, violations, and breaches
• Identify potential security risks and develop preventive measures to mitigate them
• Conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness about security procedures and protocols
• Stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college education in criminal justice or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and diffuse high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
• Excellent observation and surveillance skills
• Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures
• Familiarity with security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, metal detectors, and access control systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must possess a valid security license and any other necessary certifications as per local regulations
