Job Description: As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our products. You will be responsible for conducting various tests and inspections to ensure that our products meet the established quality standards. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying any issues or defects in our products. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold the company's quality standards and ensure that our customers receive only the best products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze test results and compare them to established specifications.
• Identify any defects or non-conformities and report them to the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests and inspections.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the quality control laboratory.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations to ensure our products comply with all requirements.
• Participate in new product development and provide input on quality control processes.
• Train and mentor new quality control technicians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, additional technical education is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in the Pulp & Paper industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Experience with testing equipment and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
