Job Title: Cinematographer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cinematographer to join our team. As a Cinematographer, you will be responsible for capturing the visual essence of our projects, bringing the director's vision to life through the use of lighting, camera movement, and composition. You will work closely with the director and other members of the production team to create a cohesive and visually stunning final product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the director and other key stakeholders to understand the creative vision and objectives of each project
• Develop shot lists and storyboards to plan out the visual sequences and camera movements
• Select and set up appropriate camera, lenses, and lighting equipment for each scene
• Control and adjust camera settings, including exposure, focus, and frame rate, to achieve desired effects
• Work with the director and actors to block and rehearse scenes, making necessary adjustments to camera angles and movements
• Communicate with the gaffer and grips to ensure proper lighting and rigging setups
• Operate the camera during filming, following the planned shots and improvising when necessary
• Review and assess footage to ensure technical and creative quality
• Collaborate with the post-production team to provide input on color grading and editing decisions
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in camera technology and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Photography, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cinematographer on film or television productions
• Strong understanding of shot composition, lighting, and camera movement
• Proficiency with a variety of camera systems and equipment, including DSLRs, cinema cameras, and gimbals
• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in visual style
• A portfolio or reel demonstrating your previous work as a Cinematographer
