Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Mediation Specialist to join our team. As a Mediation Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating peaceful resolutions between individuals or groups who are involved in disputes. Your role will involve utilizing your strong communication and conflict resolution skills to help parties reach mutually beneficial agreements. The ideal candidate will have a background in mediation and possess a strong understanding of legal processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mediation sessions between parties involved in disputes
• Listen attentively to both sides of the argument and remain impartial
• Identify and address underlying issues and concerns
• Create a safe and respectful environment for all parties involved
• Guide the conversation towards finding mutually agreeable solutions
• Explain legal rights and obligations to all parties involved
• Draft mediation agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all mediation sessions
• Collaborate with legal teams and other professionals as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law, psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mediation or dispute resolution
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong understanding of legal processes and procedures
• Ability to remain neutral and impartial in emotionally charged situations
• Proven track record of successfully resolving conflicts and disputes
• Empathetic and patient demeanor
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
