Job Title: Executive Director of Art & Design Association

Position Overview: The Executive Director of Art & Design Association is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the organization. The ideal candidate will be a creative and innovative leader with a passion for art and design, as well as strong business acumen and experience in managing a non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to promote the growth and success of the Art & Design Association.
• Provide leadership and direction to the organization's staff, volunteers, and board of directors.
• Manage the organization's budget and resources, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible use of funds.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure funding for the organization's programs and initiatives.
• Oversee the planning and execution of events, exhibitions, and other programs that promote the organization's mission and vision.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with other art and design organizations and institutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the organization's operations and offerings.
• Represent the organization at various events and conferences, both locally and nationally.
• Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive organizational culture that values diversity and promotes collaboration and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g. Art, Design, Business, Non-profit Management).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit organization, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of the art and design industry, as well as current trends and challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, budget management, and fundraising.
• Creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards a common goal.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for promoting the arts and supporting artists and designers.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, as needed.
