Job Title: Green Building Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Green Building Consultant to join our team. As a Green Building Consultant, you will play a critical role in promoting and implementing sustainable building practices, helping to create a more environmentally responsible and energy-efficient future. In this role, you will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide expertise and guidance in developing green building strategies and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and analysis of building projects to determine their sustainability and potential for green building practices
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and implement green building strategies and solutions
• Stay up to date on the latest green building technologies, materials, and practices and provide recommendations for their integration into projects
• Conduct research and analysis on sustainable building standards, regulations, and certifications, such as LEED, WELL, and Living Building Challenge
• Lead workshops and training sessions for clients and project teams on green building principles and practices
• Provide guidance and support in the selection of sustainable building materials, products, and systems
• Monitor and track project progress to ensure green building objectives are being met
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the benefits and impact of green building practices to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to promote the company's green building capabilities and services
• Act as a liaison between clients, project teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with green building standards and certifications
• Attend industry conferences and events to stay informed on the latest developments and trends in green building

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, environmental science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in green building consulting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of green building standards, regulations, and certifications
• Experience with sustainable building practices, materials, and technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
• LEED Accredited Professional or other relevant certifications are a plus
