Position: Curriculum Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Curriculum Specialist to join our team. As a Curriculum Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum standards for our organization. Your main goal will be to ensure that our curriculum is aligned with industry standards and meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement curriculum standards that align with our organization's mission and goals
• Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in curriculum development
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop curricula for various courses and programs
• Review and evaluate existing curriculum to identify areas for improvement and make necessary updates
• Create and maintain curriculum documents, including course outlines, lesson plans, and assessments
• Train and support instructors in the implementation of curriculum and instructional strategies
• Monitor and analyze student performance data to assess the effectiveness of curriculum and make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that curriculum aligns with other areas of the organization, such as marketing and admissions
• Stay current with technology and instructional tools to enhance curriculum delivery
• Attend professional development opportunities to stay updated on curriculum development best practices
• Lead curriculum development initiatives and projects, including managing timelines and resources
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to curriculum development and implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an educational or training setting
• Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles and instructional strategies
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to develop and implement curriculum
• Knowledge of learning management systems and other educational technology tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions
• Passion for education and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
