Job Title: Data Architect

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's data architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data strategies and solutions that align with our business goals and objectives. You should have a strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data management best practices, as well as excellent technical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain data architecture blueprints, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Design and implement data integration processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance processes and conducting regular data audits.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and provide guidance on data management best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Create and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, database schemas, and data flow diagrams.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data management and recommend solutions that can enhance our data architecture.
• Train and mentor junior team members on data architecture best practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database design, data warehousing, and data modeling principles.
• Experience with database management systems, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• In-depth understanding of ETL processes and tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant data architecture certifications are a plus.
