Production Manager - Plastic Products

Position: Production Manager - Plastic Products

Overview: As a Production Manager for Plastic Products, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process from start to finish. You will be in charge of ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality plastic products to meet customer demands. Your role will involve managing a team of production workers and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly to meet production targets. Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in driving the success of our plastic products production department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and customer demands
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
• Manage and supervise a team of production workers to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources
• Train and develop production staff to improve their skills and increase productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production processes
• Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless production flow
• Manage inventory levels and ensure raw materials are available for production
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to production staff
• Identify and resolve any production-related issues in a timely manner
• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in plastic production technology to continuously improve production processes
• Prepare and present production reports to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards
• Proven track record of successfully managing a production team and meeting production targets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment
• Proficient in using production management software and tools
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
