Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the creative team to develop and design original characters for various projects, including animated films, television shows, video games, and other media platforms
Create detailed character concept art, including sketches, models, and turnarounds, that accurately represent the character's personality, emotions, and physical features
Develop and refine character designs based on feedback from the creative team, ensuring that they align with the overall vision and style of the project
Collaborate with the animation team to ensure that character designs are translated accurately into 3D models
Research and gather inspiration from various sources, such as art, fashion, and pop culture, to continuously elevate the quality and uniqueness of character designs
Maintain organized files and documentation of all character designs, including color palettes, style guides, and other reference materials
Work within tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of creativity and quality

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in fine arts, animation, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Character Designer in the entertainment or animation industry
Strong artistic and technical skills, including proficiency in digital art and 3D software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, or ZBrush
Excellent understanding of anatomy, proportion, and color theory
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from the creative lead
Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to various art styles
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Passion for storytelling and creating compelling characters that resonate with audiences
