Overview: AirNet Wireless Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Wireless Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our wireless network infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our wireless network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of wireless networking technologies and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement wireless network solutions, including access points, controllers, and antennas, to meet business requirements and improve network performance.
• Perform network capacity planning and make recommendations for network upgrades and expansions.
• Conduct site surveys to identify potential wireless coverage issues and provide solutions to improve network coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including but not limited to connectivity, performance, and security.
• Monitor network traffic and usage to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Security Specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the wireless network.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless networking technologies and make recommendations for their implementation to enhance network performance and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wireless Network Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of wireless networking technologies, such as 802.11 standards, WEP/WPA/WPA2 security protocols, and RF propagation.
• Hands-on experience with wireless network equipment, including access points, controllers, and antennas.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and NetScout.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA Wireless or CWNP, are preferred.
