Job Title: Ground Transportation Dispatcher

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Ground Transportation Dispatcher to join our team. As a Ground Transportation Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching vehicles and drivers to ensure the timely and safe transportation of passengers and cargo. You will work closely with drivers, clients, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our ground transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process transportation requests from clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate and dispatch vehicles and drivers to meet the transportation needs of clients.
• Monitor and track the location and status of vehicles and drivers to provide real-time updates to clients.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure they are following designated routes and schedules.
• Handle and resolve any issues or emergencies that may arise during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation requests, dispatches, and vehicle maintenance.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ground transportation dispatching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in using dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
