Position: Water Treatment Technician

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our team. As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and treating water systems to ensure the quality and safety of the water supply for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment and possess excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular monitoring and testing of water systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and implement treatment plans to remove impurities and contaminants from water systems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water treatment equipment
• Maintain accurate records of water quality data and treatment procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and address any potential issues with water systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all water treatment processes
• Train and mentor new team members on proper water treatment procedures and protocols
• Respond to emergency situations, such as water main breaks, and take appropriate actions to resolve the issue
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and recommendations on water treatment processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in water treatment or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment or a related field
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
