Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Development Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development process for commercial real estate projects. This includes project planning, budgeting, site selection, design, entitlements, and construction management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for commercial real estate projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential development opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.
• Manage the budget and financial feasibility of each project, ensuring all costs and expenses are within budget constraints.
• Negotiate land acquisitions, zoning approvals, and other permits with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Oversee the design and construction process to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure the project meets the desired quality standards.
• Lead project teams and manage all project-related activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of resources.
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and local government officials.
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and regulations to identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate development, with a proven track record of managing successful projects.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
• Extensive knowledge of the real estate development process, including entitlements, zoning, and construction management.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and local authorities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
