Position: Telecommunications Engineer

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Telecommunications Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication systems for our organization. You will be working closely with our IT department to ensure seamless communication across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement telecommunication systems, including VoIP, PBX, and mobile networks
• Conduct site surveys and analyze data to determine the most optimal telecommunication solutions for our organization
• Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with IT department to integrate telecommunication systems with existing IT infrastructure
• Develop and maintain documentation for telecommunication systems, including diagrams, procedures, and user manuals
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in telecommunication technology to propose new solutions and improvements
• Train and support end-users on telecommunication systems, including troubleshooting and providing technical assistance
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for telecommunication equipment and services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for telecommunication systems
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing telecommunication systems
• Strong knowledge and experience with VoIP, PBX, and mobile networks
• Proficient in network protocols, such as TCP/IP, SIP, and HTTP
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and routers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
