As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing written content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines. You will work closely with our team of writers, designers, and marketing professionals to produce high-quality, error-free content.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit written content for accuracy, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency
• Ensure that all content follows company style guidelines and brand voice
• Collaborate with writers and other team members to ensure timely delivery of content
• Fact-check and verify information included in written content
• Make revisions and suggestions for improving content quality and readability
• Ensure that all content is optimized for SEO and meets company standards
• Monitor and correct any errors or inconsistencies in published content
• Communicate with writers and other team members to clarify content and resolve any issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in editing and copywriting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Copy Editor or in a similar role
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with AP and Chicago style guides
• Knowledge of SEO and best practices for online content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
