Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code using best practices and design patterns
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner
Stay updated on emerging backend technologies and make recommendations for improvements
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
Contribute to code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
Participate in agile development processes and provide status updates to project stakeholders
Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments
Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance team efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development
Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Experience with database design and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases
In-depth knowledge of web services and API development
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Proven track record of delivering high-quality and scalable software solutions
