Job Title: Database Management Executive

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Management Executive to join our dynamic team. As a Database Management Executive, you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and optimization of our company's databases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and security of our databases while also implementing strategies to improve database performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for staying current with the latest database technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of database systems
• Create and enforce database security protocols to protect against unauthorized access
• Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement database upgrades and patches
• Train and mentor junior database administrators
• Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and techniques
• Analyze and interpret database trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management
• Proven experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures
• Strong understanding of database design, structures, and theories
• Experience with database management tools and software such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with database auditing and data integrity checks
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
